We Collectively Evolve Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

We Collectively Evolve

Drastic changes made takes conflict.
Never giving anyone time,
To prepare or accept this.
Before or even after,
They come with confusion produced.

Some changes made,
Have their way to be introduced.
Like holidays and seasons.
Easier to celebrate them.
With anticipation few refuse.

In the midst of diverse changes.
From climate that affects nature.
And the effect this has,
On a rapidly moving...
Away from a past no one can keep,
Held in their grasp. But try.

Going through these changes,
Are difficult to do.
Especially with the advancing pace,
Technology seems...
On a daily basis erases to replace,
Those yesterdays lived...
Before the week ends.
Giving no one time to reminisce.
What happened.

People want it their way.
As if given permission,
To have their way will last forever.
With a creating of division.
Between races to use as excuses.
And religious beliefs.
Claiming God has favorites.

Only one Earth in this Universe,
We, collectively, have come to experience.
And as we,
Collectively evolve into a higher consciousness.
There will be many with minds left behind.
Unaccepting what God, The Creator...
Chooses to do and does to find a necessity.
Even if this means removing,
The ones disbelieving...
Their presence blessed to experience life,
Is not a permanent stay.
To act the way they do to others.
Without being judged.
Or removed from existence.
Regardless how stubborn,
They refuse not to budge.
From cemented ignorance.
Leaving their 'things', pretensions.
And misdeeds not to miss to reminisce!
