War Child Poem by Christine Gries

War Child

Rating: 5.0

Artists see things differently
We see
the good in people
the darkness in a moment
the beauty of the world

When all seems lost
We pray for change
Our prayers reflected in
canvas
~~ Sculpture ~~
~~ Buildings ~~
~~ and words ~~

Artists see things differently
We see greatness in our subjects
When we cannot find it
in ourselves
And when the children cry
So do we
