As I used to look upwards
my urge was to ascend step by step
But oh God
dont' take me to the heights
as I can't resist
the commandment of the depths.
If I go on my trip upwards
somebody would grab me by chains
and so all the pomegranates in my heart
would crumble and scatter.
Sure, I have none
but these birds to inherit me
and from their beaks
would drizzle my poem.
