Thirty six years of freedom
From bondage to bondage?
Three decades and six
As old as that?
Yet I crawl
Too weak to work
Miserly to feed
Lazy to wash
But strong in vices
With acute intelligence
In all the unwanted
A giant I am
Sprawling inert giant.

To whom much is given, much is expected. A giant putting on the pyjamas of a Lilliputian. Bad leadership is the bane of our country. Your poem very apt and timely. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you brother. Remain blessed.
