Unbearable Poem by Katie Anon

Unbearable

Rating: 4.0

The world has shrunk to nothing
A happy future I cannot see how
Each day survived but not lived
Without hope life can only be now

Self-hatred only matures
With each failure, proof grows
The weeds of depression have anchored
Their grip no one else truly knows

This is a life of such pain and stress
I cannot free myself from this curse
So do I keep going for a chance it will clear
But with the risk it can only get worse

For now I am affecting others
This internal battle has broken me
I don't want to feel anymore
A way through this I just can't see

Each night is followed by a new dawn and the day cycle goes on. Similarly a bad patch(say depression) is definitely followed by a good one in the life cycle. Be optimistic and hope for the best.
