Umbrellove Poem by Faaiz AbdulHadi

Umbrellove

Rating: 5.0

And it trickled down your face
tears, as you thread that lonely road
Your troubled heart palpitates
As tears drip uncontrolled ▪▪

The night is dark, the rain is hard
I saw it; the tears glazing your glabella
Into shards, your heart I scarred
But thy knight is now coming with an umbrella

Like the veil of the sky; like molten gold
Hang there my verse; my chaste clove
Let's meet with a kiss, your scarlet lips smearing my cloth
Let this mark the red letter day of our Umbrellove

And as the mountain watch: as the wind hiss
Let's seal our Umbrellove, lean in for a kiss▪▪▪
