Treasure Hidden In Mqabuko Heights. Poem by Marvin Reeds

Treasure Hidden In Mqabuko Heights.

Rating: 4.0

My heart was of paper.
My heart easily caught fire
It easily soaked
And it quickly dried
And it was easily blown by the wind
But manuscript inked above its lines
Made it of gold
Now it is hidden inside an ore only mercury could find.
But i won't die coiled like a millipede
Rather face the obnoxious like a hippo
I have become impatient like a snail
And my pace slow like a thunder bolt.
Training my soldiers ' fire ants ' but its not a colt.
Memories on Masiye-Phambili are put in a vault.
