Today I thought of u just like I have so many times before. I wanted so badly to hear your voice.To hear you tell me everything would be ok.I wanted to hear you whisper in my ear of things yet to come.I longed to hear how much you care.I wanted you to put a smile upon my face that only you can do.

But today wasn't like all the other times before.Today was full of sadness because your voice I did not hear.I never heard you say everything will be ok.Nor did you whisper of things yet to come or how much you cared.My smile I could not find.Because today you said goodbye and now all I feel is sorrow.
