Through The Night Poem by Riza Braholli

Through The Night

Rating: 5.0

On the cobblestones so wavy
His manes flowing billowy
Kicking heels a well-built horse
Suffering-Spirit in remorse.

Mane jumps straight up to the stars
Gates in silence heart in bars
Sky is trembling, Moon is broken
Tied-leg horse what has bespoken?

What's this horse, What's this trot
As his legs so tight are caught?
No rampancy and no gallop
Breaks the night through hop and hop.

His neigh piercers like a dagger
Panes are broken, stars in tremor
Bellybutton of Moon does boom
Baby shakes in mother's womb.

If your hearts feel empathy
Untie his legs and set him free
Wind in meadows wants him there
short-mane ponies and the mare

On the cobblestones so wavy
Suffering spirit is so heavy…
