Three Magical Words Poem by Anamika Raj

Three Magical Words

Rating: 5.0

Now it's time
To make her listen my heart's chime
For the last six months
I tried to tell her more than once.
.
Those three magical words
But lacked courage.
It would hurt
If now our love becomes a mirage.
.
Looking into the mirror
He smiled,
The day has come to press the trigger
Of love, which would change their lives.
.
Dressed like a Gentleman
He left to meet his lady.
Who will be waiting for him
Where they used to meet daily.
.
While abroad, he missed her a lot
A bundle of emotions there he fought.
Wished to tie with her the knot
To live his life with the lady of his thought.
.
Clad in pink, she looked stunning
Typical girl, he grinned.
Feeling his presence she turned around
Her grace made his heart pound.
.
Standing infront of each other
They locked their eyes together.
Lips didn't bother
And their souls united forever.
.
Lost in themselves
They made a promise
'Our love remains till eternity
This we pray to our deity.'
.
Suddenly a painful scream
Awakens the guy from his daydream
His eyes couldn't meet hers, he looked around
ACCIDENT! came a harsh sound.
.
An over speeding black Buggati
Hit his girl.
Which was being driven
By a drunk juvenile.
.
Blank in his thoughts
He rushed her to the hospital.
Where the Gods
Declared her an angel.
.
Tears started rolling out of his eyes
Shattered like broken mirror pieces, he saw his love die.
The three magical words he wished to tell his would be wife
Were crafted into moaning ones forever in his life.

Shattered like broken mirror pieces, he saw his love die. A great touch of tragedy overturns the dreamy subtle effects rendered earlier/ You have a great poetic skill to make your reader smile with dream and cry with a scream too. 10+++ for the poem shared.
