almost everyone is hiding
too afraid of expiring
COVID-19 is an adversary
we must avoid it in any way.

everybody now is thinking of security
even the butchers and pickpocketers
needs a super holiday
to avoid the unseen enemy.

men are still human beings,
created in God's image,
never an orangutan
goodness inborn we are no Hulk Hogan.

our government can feed the whole country
no one will go hungry
money and wealth will be blown away
COVID-19 will take our breath away.

show how you love your country
have compassion for humanity
no need to buy votes next and smile sweetly
this is the time for bravery.

COVID-19 will touch everybody
even the wealthy or the holy
no one is safe if not healthy
listen once more to this story...

we have an old joke in our country
no one died by being dirty
Filipinos love to shower 3 to 5 times a day
even our bread we love to dip in our coffee.
