They'd Better Pay For It Poem by Lia Padena

They'd Better Pay For It

Rating: 4.0

corruption no longer disturbs many
as if the soul did not cry like before
maybe they had few left
with whole minds
with intact view
few in number who did not bind friendship with the enemy
to earn money
to resolve her anxiety
anxiety of the species
they'd better pay for it
with life
with health
than to continue to follow the truth
