The Wrong Partner Poem by Randy McClave

The Wrong Partner

With the wrong woman at my side
I took a terrible emotional ride,
I thought that she was the perfect person for me
But, it was always her, and never we.
She destroyed all that I had
She was happy while I stayed depressed and sad,
My beliefs she did hack
Emotionally and mentally I was set back.
Whatever she needed or wanted I bought
My money she always sought,
Financially I was no longer in the black
Mentally my mind went wack.
I started believing in her instead of our Lord God
I didn't fear God's judgment or his rod,
Spiritually the faith I then did lack
Physically then, I had a heart attack.
