The Writing Is On The Wall Poem by Randy McClave

The Writing Is On The Wall

You treat people the way that no one should be treated
You make them feel used and defeated,
The world sees you and your act
So, I will tell you this one sure fact.
You think that nothing bad will ever happen to you
And karma of course you scream is untrue,
You still do and you say those many bad things
You mock the poor and you probably pull off a fly's wings.
I will say this with one true truth and certainty
You would make the Devil grand company,
You would make him smile whenever you are around
Truly you are a lost soul not wanting to be found.
You enjoy taking advantage of all others
Either here or there or even under the covers,
You enjoy to lie and of course you enjoy to cheat
And you enjoy breaking promises to everyone you meet.
You always pretend that you are someone that you're not
You believe that you're a trophy to be caught,
And you truly believe that's you're a God given roll model
But, through the slime you constantly waddle.
When your finances ever begin to fail
You always say that the check is already in the mail,
You don't pay your debts, but you always find someone who will
That trickery always gives you the greatest thrill.
This I will say to you my long ago dear friend
Your seconds on the clock is ticking to the end,
Your days are certainly numbered one and all
Because, as the Bible says, "The writing is already on the wall".
