The Wine Thief Poem by michael Smajda

The Wine Thief

Rating: 5.0

I had a bottle of wine
That was taken by a friend
Who guzzled every last drop
From its top to bottom's end.

And leaving me not a glass
Of my best favorite wine,
He left me a dry bottle
And too upset to define.

Some friends do the worst things to us of all. To squeeze a poem from this is a good way to fall.

Some friend! But we have to live with them. Some time they are the greatest to cheer you up with their crazy behavior.
