The divine death plucked savagely
the bud of Zehra. The flower of sky.
Fragrance of the flower woefully
From Medina to Karbala, did fly.
Only in a day! He lost what he had.
Even for the ultimate sacrifice, gave his lad.
To merge in Gods' light, he fold to unfold.


Scorching air, torrid were the sands,
Thirst was Hussain and his comrades.
Embarrassed not you, O'Euphrates.?
Flow toward the harem, there you will find
Withering flower of the garden of Hussain.
And for God's sake, extinguish Sakina's thirst.


O'Hussain! Far in a distant land and time,
Wounded hearts healed by your name.
Recollections of your tragic death
Depart us, from our own grievances.
Tears spilled on your name unsin our sins.
unto resurrection, not forget you Hussain.
