The Tears That You Cried Poem by Spiritwind Wood

The Tears That You Cried

Rating: 5.0

I feel all the pain you buried inside
walking with dreams by your side
just to have them pushed aside

You opened your heart to a love
to everything you could think of
trying to believe and still hold on
when a push came to a shove

Behind your tears you would hide
watching the morning dawn rise
as the night would subside
with those dreams fading on the horizon

An empty sadness in your eye's
you count the tears that you cried
to all that was faded and gone
as you stand there alone

With broken wings falling from above
now another lonely Angel on her own
fading with Heaven into the unknown
