The Road That I Follow Poem by Spiritwind Wood

The Road That I Follow

There is a echo inside of me
that lights my soul's flame
a ghost of my own shadow
that becomes my own name
through a Spirit in the wind

Within myself a Wolf's Spirit
that is now a part of me
down this road that I follow
and within walks with me
through life's timeless journey

Taken what I once was before
lost on this path of my destiny
it made me what I became
that of my true identity
a Warrior I will be forevermore

Things that are taught to me
of all that I am to see
the past now done I hold no regret
remembered and not forgotten
within I hold no shame

Each lesson which made me strong
lead me to where I now belong
dancing to a Warrior's song
through a place I soon won't forget
now brings peace with every sunset
