The Sun Is Shining On The Glistening River
the Sun is shining
on the glistening river
and the rippling waters
conceal a world below.
the fish swim together.
the big fish eat the smaller fish
and the smaller fish eat
the even tinier ones
and the dragonfly hovers over them all.
my love for you is perched in the heavens
high above the tallest mountains
and the big, far-reaching sky.
i am at the mercy of only you.
only you can cause my heart to fall
