The Road Unknown Poem by Sven Rhoads

The Road Unknown

With no love from the rat race we're all in
I'll take my chances going it alone
I am more beast than man, they call me sin
But you cant speak for my choice off the road
Maybe I'm just worn out with the times
A puzzle piece that no longer fits
To choose my own will is not a crime
I'm long from calling it quits

The reaper must've forgot the clear the board
Cause I'm still here and ready for more
Maybe life just forgot about me
Or am I the only one whos soul is free

Not shackled to a ring
Or by material things
My companions need not say a word
No tempting lust
Or pseudo trust
I've been burned but never again

With only howling to mother moon
And the dancing of the flame
I will be among the pack someday soon
And this life will know my name
Maybe I'm a certain kind of stupid
Cause I have just gone so astray
Over or around you, I will be fluid
And you shall wonder what its like to go my way

The road unknown will be your question
And for me it will be the answer
