Infinity and time
It wraps around my mind stretching me into the vast expanses of matter the universal batter
The big bang started things off with energy and incredible force
It is the source of power greater than Hitler or Eisenhower
It makes things flower in a big mix
Space is the paste it holds things together
I feel the power and majesty of infiniteness as I watch the stars twinkle and realize I am so small
Meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
I am part of bigger picture
Of forces and dimensions unknown
Time and matter linked into a vast complicated web,
String theory and formulas,
They try to comprehend the complex patterns and events,
The explosions of particles smaller than a hair,
Unknown
Unseen
Atoms the building blocks of matter
Hold incredible force.
Can be molded
Folded
But never created or destroyed;
I try to wrap my mind around mind boggling concepts and fail.
It is the beauty of science
It keeps going into infinity and interlinks you with matter and time.
Contemplating these ideas I go to sleep knowing there will be another day,
To start again and invest in the power of my mind,
It's not a crime, when I realize I am no more than a grain of sand,
That I will probably never know why I exist
Whether I was in a trance being controlled by extraordinary forces,
Or even if god actually exists.
