The Pond
Water in the pond drying
For it turned into vapors.
In a few days
No water will be there.
Yet the clouds seen
At the distance turned away
To other directions.
In the shallow water
Of the pond
Fishes are seen
Swimming here and there.
But oh Clouds,
Where you have flown!

A wonderful poem Akham ji. Just cannot imagine a state when there is no water on earth. The world would be devastated.
Pond is drying.....Clouds turned to other direction----There is no hope of refilling ---Life is just sustaing! A great poem.It is not only the pond, even our lives become dry and die when we find no hope of refilling.
In a few days No water will be there. Yet the clouds seen At the distance turned away to other directions.......the poet has left enough substances for its readers to ponder on. A meaningful composition. It gives me immense pleasure revisit this poem multiple times.
