The Poet Tree Poem by Belle Wassermeister

The Poet Tree

Rating: 5.0

High on a lofty limb
were wisest words from Kim,
and there for all to see,
were gems from Rose Marie.

Near, floating in the sky
were anthems penned by Bri,
and as only she can,
were verses by LeeAnn.

Sylvia had been there,
and left some thoughts to share.
All would have been a loss
without old Smoky Hoss.

Rebecca always sees
the best in everyone
and loves them more than trees
that glisten in the sun.

Bharati did her part
with stanzas from her heart,
and it would have been sad
had I not seen Freeyad.

A glimpse of Cowboy Ron;
suddenly he was gone.
When I can think of more,
I'll share them here for sure.

Belle, For sure I crave some more. Your poem I adore. If my name you'd not used, I would have felt abused. I give it 5 invisible stars and send it to my favorites. Nice one, Belle. ;) bri

TWO: Merci beaucoup, ma chére Belle, I am happiest to have come across The Poet Tree, how brilliantly weaved and woven, six quatraines, in each line six syllables, and with so cutest end-rhymes.

What a greatest surprise this morn, I felt so forlorn, then all of a sudden I came across The Poet Tree, amazingly I discovered it's Belle's own, nothing of the rolling Stones, but so gorgeously worded
