The Palestinian school
It was my first day of school.
And every thing was cool
I was exciting
The new day that was brightening
And I couldn't wait
While he opens the gate
The teacher came
And asked my name
But he started the game
And it wasn't the same
-My aim
This game has loud voice
And you don't have the choice
It is frightening
And too brightening
But wait,
Why I can't stand straight
And I can't see other s
Are they hiding like my brothers?
I am feeling pain
And my blood spilling like rain
Everybody slept
Except
Me
-faint-
When I wake up
I couldn't pick up
Any part of my body
Like they travel to Saudi
What did they say?
I can't have own my way
Because I lost my legs
And it wasn't a game
It was an attack in
A Palestinian school
Why did you take away my day
Why do you make … ….. …. hey
Whoever you are
Why do forbidden me
The happiness and peace
I dreamt about
Hey, don't we have the right to live?
The right to be happy?
The right to be who we want to be?
The right to have our own secrets?
The right to have our own right?
The poem conveys the horror of living in a conflict zone. A beautiful write on human rights violation.
