The New Regime Poem by Stephanie Apila

The New Regime

This was a rebellion against the new regime
Auspiciously it didn't slog even a slight bit,
There wasn't a chance to win the fresh regime
There is totally no chance for you to conquer,
Nonentity aches me but
A life time of a generation put to a trash canister.

The new government is no longer new
Too far and stout a rover today, seized to be new
The new regime is diplomatic,
Not your match to fight a battle
And giving up! In fear for a hot battle
Too throbbing but safer a way to be alive.
