when she wears the long blue shirt
she is a lost ocean I wish to name
hypnotic fabric wave over wave
white buttons mother-of-pearl
scattered over the shore line
catching sun, becoming diamonds
when unclasped, her breasts rise
through the blue like sea foam
caught in the pale white spray
I close my eyes, think of ships
storm-tossed in unforgiving lace
stand on the edge of her thunder
and deliciously drown, on dry land
