On this dark snowy evening
How cool the weather was
Starting my journey to achieve my goal

With no one else around
Only winter and snow
And the soundless and peaceful woods

A bit reluctant I was
But then I thought,
To start every journey

You start with a single step
Moving forward with the lamp,
of enlightenment in my hands

With each and every step
Getting nearer to the goal
With each and every tick of my watch

Getting nearer to the morn'
The disappearing darkness
The spreading of my light

Gave me the real joy
For realizing something
I crossed this long path

Looking back,
I see many others
Following the path lit by me

They might be thinking how,
tough the journey is
Once they reach here

Like me, they'll feel
Like me, they'll feel
