The 'immortal' Miserable Poem by Freeyad Ibrahim

The 'immortal' Miserable

Victor Hugo
By Freeyad Ibrahim

His daughter in insane asylum died
His two sons died
His faithful mistress died
His eldest and favourite daughter Léopoldine, died
Her young husband also, trying to save her, died.
The death left her father devastated
But not defeated, he still lives, not died
His "The Miserable" still lives, not died.
