The Heart's Graveyard: Inspires Enlightens Beautiful Lives Poem by Terence George Craddock

The Heart's Graveyard: Inspires Enlightens Beautiful Lives

Rating: 5.0

when walking through the heart's graveyard
will we reflect upon success which may not be final
regret which may be mournful melancholy

failure which may sow learns
lessons for endurance future success
betrayal treachery which sows

lessons caution beware wisdom
pain loss despair which can teach
suffering empathy humility humanity

may motivate strengthen a soul
to strive to serve community with ability
past breath experiences memories

joy sadness loss sow our hearts graveyard
reflection cultivating a carousal sacred past
may provide clarity to walk a better present

live a life honest humble nurture dreams hopes
in friends family strangers chance souls
we encounter who share belief

that a better world
a better tomorrow
may ripple spread

from a single beautiful life

I thought the title 'In My Heart's Graveyard' was an incredible phrase. It was intriguing to follow that line of thought into extended social implications and constructs, the poem was a pleasure to write.
