The Garden Of Hope Poem by Julie Anjani

The Garden Of Hope

You deprived me of peace and stole my serene sleep, it seems
Dragging me into a fairy tale from some children's book.
You did capture feelings, charming stranger from my dreams,
Imperiously conquering them with just a sultry look.

Gently I will lay out your name from delicate velvet roses,
Timidly dropping petals of hope into heart in silence
Of the magic garden which blossomed under the hypnosis
Of those pink dreams, filling my soul with a honey fragrance.

I will sprinkle my treasured dream with transparent tears,
Like a lonely cloud, a fine flower with pure crystal dew.
I will cherish it until the frost destroys over the years
The garden of hope that blooms, waiting only for you...
