The Fortune Seekers

This tragedy still lingers in my mind,
including that one man who sent his wife
and their two toddlers away
in a leaky boat and told her
that he will follow them later
because he still has something to arrange
He let them go before in that rickety boat

Just on the high seas,
the rickety boat broke down
and those who were in it fell into the open sea,
it was on the seas of Turkey
and they soon drowned because they couldn't swim,
including that woman whose husband let her
and their two toddlers get into that rickety little boat earlier.

He cried crocodile tears for the press
He lied to her family in Canada,
it was an 'accident'
he let her leave in a leaky boat and they went
was that an accident?

So many tragedies passed by
Now killing behind the fences
A huge amount of blood spilled on that quiet ground, I bet
Most are dead, not healthy and well, but just DEAD!
They can never leave that ground, nor flee to freedom
