The Earth Spoke Poem by keith brown

The Earth Spoke

The earth spoke

The earth spoke too the tree
"Your squashing me"
The tree boughed
"Don't complain, I'm deep inside of you"
Only the wind or rain can make us part
the wind blew, the rain fell

So did the tree
The earth had a gape
As big as a smile
