The Cowboys Midnight Dream Poem by Charles E. Chancellor

The Cowboys Midnight Dream

Rating: 0.5

The Cowboy always dreams at the midnight hour of a
beautiful lady with golden hair, with dancing heels.
that can dance on the Winds of Time at the midnight
hour. He sees her in the silhouette of the dream
world, but he knows that she is and her beauty is
beyond compare. He can only hope the Winds of the Ages
will bring this love of a lifetime, unto him. He bows
on bended knee before his Creator and prays to the
Lord above to send him the lady of Love. Even though
he is now old and broken, he still has a whisper of
hope in his heart, in the graciousness of the Lord
that before his eyes grow dark, that he may see the
Angel of the Winds, for she is the very creation of
beauty.
