The Candy Emporiums And Etc.

[again, for Ray Bradbury]

the candy emporiums
the sleight of hand shadows
on the wine coloured hills

the amusement park thrills
when the ferris approaches the moon
he was gone so soon

wept our imaginations
but has he hidden stories
like Easter eggs in the long grasses

for us to find
over Time
over the red clay epochs

he was always
leaving behind?
