The Call Of An Ancestor Poem by Ejalonibu Abraham

The Call Of An Ancestor

For 12-12-2012, for the world.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I had the voice from far
That make me to shiver
And turned me to shudder
I can't believe it
Is the call of an ancestor.

The voice make my heart go low
And changed my eyes coy
Blew to me like cyclone.
I was called by new name
'The Strange Hero'.

The voice says to me,
'Tell the moral body that,
The stream will halt to flow;
The cloud will halt to fleet;
The wind will halt to blow;
And the heart will halt to beat;
For all things must die'.
