The Affected Generations Poem by Muzahidul Reza

The Affected Generations

Rating: 5.0

I weep, I sob, I cry a loud
Seeing the horrible committings around
Which halt the sense
Quake the earth
Frighten the devils
And jerk the hells,

But the committers are not a little bit feared or sad
Contrary, they are ever glad;

Here was my beautiful garden and
There was my fine hut
All have been destroyed,
My sister, my brother, my mom, my dad
All have been killed,
As violently the committers have exploded
Violently they have fired
Violently they have burned
Violently they have slaughtered
Violently they have cut
Violently they have divided
Violently they have raped
Violently they have choked
Violently they have massacred;

Now, I am alone
A seven years child,
From dustbin I have been rescued
They threw me there,
Misfortunate! misfortunate! !
My future is unknown,

Again, I am not alone
Like me in the society many children I see.
