That's All They Care About

Rating: 3.0

There is nothing that can explain what is going on amongst
those three people on that beach there. Maybe essentially nothing.
Maybe just one of them knows something about the other two,
what makes them such terrible unforgivable people.
One of them is very beautiful; that is all that is obvious.
The other one is not really even a man but has been taking
a lot of testosterone. That one who is a fake male being petted
into her gender by a lot of therapists and psychologists actually
cornered that third one into suicide thirty two years ago, and is
now coming around her again, after so much healing, to instead
try and make sure this time she will actually kill her.
Nobody knows about any of this. Is it really happening?
Some of them even lived together for a number of years.
The fraudulent deceiving fraudster cornered that other one into psychiatric
torture for so much as crying drunk. That of course lead to suicide.
Now she parades around pretending to be a man even though she doesn't
even have a penis. But the one who cried drunk is the one who was locked
up and tortured by the psychiatrists. And then the social justice executive
gives love, sex, affection and parental trust to a gang style kill thrill murderer
and this other awful fraud. And all you know is that one of them is beautiful.
You know nothing else. Perhaps there is nothing else. How such a beautiful woman
could choose to be with the twomost evil awful people in the universe.
But one of them is beautiful. That's all they care about. That's all anybody can see.
That's all anybody else will probably ever believe.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
How so many strange social dynamics can be going on between three people who are not even talking to each other on the beach.

Understood perfectly! Thank you. My poems tend to be about social issues and unseen true crime and problems happening amongst people who do not readily show what is truly going on with them. Have you read Territorial Guilt? That is my favorite about these complex dynamics.
