Teach Me Poem by Anahit Arustamyan

Teach Me

TEACH ME

Teach me to fly without a plane.
Teach me to swim like a huge whale.
Turn me into a purple sail.
I know the sea may be rough and grey.
Teach me to be a fish or a snow-white crane.
I know you love even my craze.
I wonder what the world keeps in a haze.
Many philosophers had asked that question before they left.
They had been puzzled before they slept.
I am so angry with my blocked way.
Teach me to steal either wings or sails.
