Taken For Granted.
People tend to take things for granted
not realizing the ways in which we're enchanted
we overlook the little things
and forget the joy that it brings
we take for granted the sun and the sky
the beauty that surrounds us, we overlook and deny
we forget to be grateful for our friends and family
and don't realize their worth until its lost entirely.
We forget about the power of love
and act as though it's easily replaceable with another dove
we forget about the blessings we have
and focus too much on the things we wish we had
so, let's take a moment to realize
the blessings in our lives that are disguised
the love we have the people around
and the memories that we've already found.
Due to various apparent reasons, we tend to overlook the love and care bestowed upon us by our loved ones and fail to give them the deserved recognition. Consequently, we regret Thoughtful poem.5***** our actions later.
