Suicide Notes // Jewel Mazhar Poem by jewel mazhar

Suicide Notes // Jewel Mazhar

The hill
- -a weird breast
hard and
static.

Always tired. Yet resists
every attempt to move it.

It's stiff
upward
undefeated.

I flee alone
from every naphthalene-sprayed town
to the foot of the hill.
To the eternal spring hidden within!
