Stick Figures Poem by anais vionet

Stick Figures

Rating: 3.0

Draw a stick figure
future - diminished
and virus ransomed.

Paint the landscape
with the sweltering glare
of global warming.

Come share this
with me - let kisses heal and
soft whispers inflame.

Some locks need two keys
to open, some heavens can
be reached by mortals.

Kim noticed (I did not) that the reply note had your name capitalized and your photo was missing..

Kim Barney and you have rightly concluded that you were not the writer of the reply to his comment.

Where the heck did your response to Kostas come from? ? ? ? ? It does NOT fit with his comment at all. : (

Bri, Anais did not make that comment. Notice that her picture is missing. This was done by one of the nameless trolls that this excuse for a website allows to post comments without being logged in. This kind of thing does not happen on AllPoetry..

That comment wasn't me.

After reading several story-type poems which I VERY MUCH enjoyed from you, , I'm disappointed in Stick Figures AND most of the comments and your response to Kostas! ! !

Maybe the first two stanzas could be built into a poem, and the last two verses can be built into a separaate poem. They don't all work well as a whole for me.
