It's little embarrassing
to tell you
after 42 years spending
in different cities
when I came back
to my home town
I saw
the mentality of local people
standing at same place
where I left them
in 1975.

I would like to translate this poem
As a matter of fact, a few decades may bring about substantial external changes in a region but it is through education in a purely democratic set-up which can change that age-old mindset of people. And this will take its time. Thanks, Dear Poet. Full points.
