Specially For You Poem by Budhashaya Behera

I have woken up early at morning,
Specially for you to make cake,
I have done grinding of gram and rice,
Making dough I have made sweet cakes,
Oh my Lord, dear yellow dressed child,
You wake up and come into my lap.

If you are thinking that your mom is busy,
Do not worry, I am your aunt calling,
You will swing in my lap
And you will eat this cake,
With milk, curd and butter
Whatever you like I should give you,
Oh my dear child Lord, you wake up!

Sun has risen, cows have gone for grazing,
They need you in forest to listen flute,
Oh my dear little child, your aunt urges,
Please wake up and come into her lap,
Your aunt, Budhashaya is waiting for you!
