Sonnet: Spring Springs Surprises Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Spring Springs Surprises

Rating: 5.0

The winter's cold is almost over now;
The land's alive with flora, fauna new;
And every bough has verdure leaves, buds, wow!
While happy birds are chirping, drinking dew.

The snow has started melting everywhere;
The hibernating bears are stirring up;
As scents of flowers slowly fill the air,
And bees are buzzing for a nectar sip!

And butterflies of various hues fly past;
The cherry trees are turning white and pink;
Such glorious scenes afill the landscapes vast;
Most bards are busy with their hearts to ink.

The queen of seasons dons her gorgeous dress;
Her beauteous smiles can people all impress.
