So Much Time Has Gone By Poem by RATIKANTA SAMAL

So Much Time Has Gone By

Time will never come back again
A memorable portrait at heart;
Undying soul moves round
I do fail to catch hold of her art.

So much time has gone by
Clean water of the forest rill alike;
Interruption after interruption
Kept us arms length as a spike.

Speechless lips, unpleasant mind
Off-season storm broke the castle;
Pulled the heart to the deep sea
Everything ended with the vassal.

Time goes in a haunted house
And the broken walls laugh at one;
I am unable to answer right
Hide me in the dark, nobody to see.

Unsolved questions arouse
Pull me to open the old grey page;
Hot tears flow on the cheeks
Last part of life is spent in a cage.
