Glimpse Poem by RATIKANTA SAMAL

Glimpse

Once I was walking along the lane
Lovely lane as if impassive buildings;
Astonished me; difficult to understand
Fearfulness grows and silence sings.
Many unsolved questions wink in mind
Search for unfurling, complex expiration;
Looked here up, found a figure of novelty
Pensive and weak body but no reaction.
Found her at the upstairs window pane
Phenomenal connection with blue eyes;
Stops me to catch hold her significant look
Curfew or imprisoned life; thoughtful sighs.
Heart touching figure in a haunted building
Time of speculation reading her innocence;
An unknown world, sign of interconnection
Wish to go up to share my disobedience.
