Sleeping With The Enemy Poem by Hebert Logerie

Sleeping With The Enemy

This is no joke
This is a bad poke
How can you sleep with the enemy
Before the world, in front of everybody
Now, you expect the citizens to back you up?
We are no fools. We are not Bongo Baboon Baby Bop
The election was surreptitiously stolen
There was collusion. Corruption is rampant
This is sure hell, not heaven
The economy is where it is
Thanks to your previous nemesis
Smart people will ignore a president
Who is worse than Richard Nixon
Savvy people will listen
Smile, move on and glisten
It is easier to divide than to unite
You have no conscience, you lost the right
To govern, to preside over the country
You express no pride, no love and no morality
You are fake news
You don't use booze
But you disrespect and abuse women
You ridicule the lesser privilege
You discriminate, you discourage
And you did cheat in the last election
No need to mention your first and last name
You know who you are: this is a shame.
