Sir Please Let Me Out Poem by manamkeri noushad Alam saj

Sir Please Let Me Out

As the sun slept in the dark blanket
so blissful to school we set
with fellow buddies hoping to rain
in the class eagerly at window pane

When the sir entered into the class
we greeted him how weakly it was
as he opened the book and started
gave an angry look almost startled

Passed away periods one by one
but seemed to satisfy us none
to him we listened as if at the point of spear
until the thunderstorm stuck our ear

No more I heard a word from him
but each drop of the blissful rain
still not yet to satisfy our whim
and looked at him with so much pain

'SIR PLEASE LET ME OUT'
I said aloud
his brow tightened
and me frightened

My body was in the class
but my mind was dancing in the rain
waiting for the time to pass
eyes fixed at water along the slopes

I dreamed until the chalk hit my head
and there stood i dumbstruck
there i was too long punished
until the break when we nourished

I jumped out but all was o'er
there stood the sun with an evil smile
spreading its light all over
I stood staring for a long while! ! : (
