Silences.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Silences....

Rating: 5.0

Silences....

Is my memory still uptodate today?
Amidst the great silence
our silent breaths
and full of happiness

On moonlit paths of our sighs
as we drove down town,
I remember
our long conversations
those were no celebrations
full of adorations

it was just like a celebration though

My sincere thoughts are going now to you
If I could be there again
Just for a couple of minutes
My heart leaps up again,
nothing would be in vain

This is no dirge nor devotion, my dear,
but true admiration....

A very touching and heartfelt write. Our great and sweet memories of someone close to our heart will close the gap between us....make us closer but still our heart yearns to be there closer to our loved ones.

Memory takes us where we want to go. A minute or two is enough, then on to something we had forgotten.

Sincere thoughts motivate life with greatness and life is encouraged with beauty of perception. On moon light our path is visible and we feel God's creation. Heart leaps again. An excellent poem with beautiful expression is presented. Thank you very much for sharing this...10

A lovely floating sensation of well being impregnates totally and marvelously this lovely poem of remembrance and deep feelings. It grips us softly till the end but still then, leaves its engaging perfume of rose petals and admiration. Unforgettable To my treasure chest..
