Silence Travels Well Poem by Phil Soar

Silence Travels Well

Silence travels well when left unquestioned
sitting down, we might seek solitude
and rest our weary souls with no real reasons
to interrupt this silence would be rude

Forgive me, for I just need some alone time
where I can sit and ease a troubled mind
and wonder where my journey's going to finish
and leave my daily worries far behind
